Mutaz al-Fateh’s paintings are inspired by everyday life, from works of Sudanese people in traditional costumes to abstract drawings.
Painter Mutaz al-Fateh also mixes colors he created himself with Arab gum – a vegetable glue made from the resin of Melaleuca trees, acacia trees to produce very durable paints over time. This type of paint was used by him to paint murals in Sudan.
