Ho Chi Minh City on information disclosure: The Board of Directors appointed Mr. Dang Quang Hanh to hold the position of General Director of the Company from May 4, 2022.
Accordingly, Mr. Hanh will replace her previous predecessor, Ms. Dang Thi Hoang Yen – who holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Hanh is also a member of the Board of Directors of ITA and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tan Tao Medical University Hospital.
Born in 1961, Mr. Hanh is the younger brother of ITA President, Dang Thi Hoang Yen (Maya Dangelas) and his brother Dang Thanh Tam, Chairman of Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation (MCK:KBC).
It is known that Mr. Hanh officially joined the Board of Directors of ITA only at the 2022 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, which took place not long ago, replacing Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa who had resigned.
Tan Tao Chairman Dang Thi Hoang Yen shared with shareholders that Mr. Hanh is a person who is very enthusiastic about the hospital. After Mr. Hanh agreed to return to help the group, Tan Tao’s hospital attracted a number of new leaders to join the operation.
By the end of April 2022, ITA’s Board of Directors consisted of 3 members: Ms. Yen, Mr. Hanh and Mr. Huynh Ho.
With this appointment, Mr. Dang Quang Hanh holds the position of General Director of ITA for the second time. Before that in 2017, Mr. Hanh was also the General Director of ITA, but only about a month ago he resigned because he was not often present at the company to run and manage the work. Ms. Yen has concurrently held the position of General Director since that time.
By the end of 2021, despite being greatly affected by the epidemic, this business still has a profit after tax of VND 265 billion, exceeding the plan and also the highest level within 10 years. However, this year, ITA expects revenue to drop by 16.6% to VND 777 billion.
