Take advantage to develop the offshore wind power industry

The event once again affirms Norway’s willingness and determination to contribute to the development of the industry offshore wind power in Vietnam, participate in the green transition as well as support Vietnam to fulfill its commitments in the Paris Agreement on Climate Change and at the Summit on Climate Change (COP26).

On this occasion, Norwegian Ambassador to Vietnam, Ms. Grete Lochen and Senior Vice President of Equinor, Mr. Jens Olaf Okland jointly organized the Opening Ceremony of Equinor’s office with the participation of representatives of relevant agencies. sectors of Vietnam such as the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) and the Electricity Regulatory Authority of Vietnam (ERAV), the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the Vietnam Administration of Seas and Islands (VASI), Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) Vietnam, representatives of Vietnamese and Norwegian businesses, and many other guests.
