Teams will compete in a round-robin to calculate points, the top 2 teams of the group will compete in the final for gold, the two teams ranked 3-4 on the rankings will play a bronze match.

The athletes who win medals will receive bonuses according to the regime and hot rewards

In addition, the reward level for athletes who won medals at the 31st SEA Games will be implemented according to regulations. Accordingly, athletes who win gold, silver and bronze will receive prizes of 45 million dong, 25 million dong and 20 million dong, respectively. For team sports, if they win a gold, silver, or bronze medal, each athlete of that team will receive the same level as above.

This means that Thanh Thuy and her teammates will each have an additional 45 million dong if they win the next SEA Games gold medal. However, in relay events, the prize money will be divided equally among the members. In addition, each athlete who breaks the congress record will receive 20 million VND.

On the other hand, athletes will also receive hot bonuses of 10 million VND (HCV), 7 million VND (HCB) and 5 million VND (bronze bronze). The hot bonus is expected to increase if there is more sponsorship during the SEA Games.
