During the night, the sleeper bus of Ha Son – Hai Van company caught fire on Noi Bai – Lao Cai highway.

According to initial information, around 8:15 p.m. on May 4 at km 201+500 of Noi Bai – Lao Cai expressway, the section passing through the territory of Tan Thuong commune, Van Ban district, a passenger car fire broke out.
At the above time, the passenger car carrying BKS 29B-10132, moving in the direction of Lao Cai to Noi Bai, was driven by driver Tran Huy Tao, when it reached km201+500 it suddenly caught fire.
Quick information to PV, Mr. Nguyen Tien Hung – passenger on the bus said: “After a loud explosion, the driver immediately braked, stopped the car to check, saw the fire caught fire and spread throughout the car, causing the passenger car to stop. The bed of Ha Son – Hai Van car company caught on fire.”
According to Mr. Hung, at the time the car caught fire, all the passengers ran away from the car when the fire rose and quickly spread to the whole vehicle. In just a few minutes, the sleeper bus was on fire.
He added that after the fire, many passengers took other buses to move back to Hanoi.
Authorities have reached the scene to investigate the fire.
