According to the victim, by mistake, the camera cord got caught in the leg and slipped down the cliff, the person collided with the tree trunks, rolled against the rocks and fainted. When he woke up, it was dark, the phone was broken and unusable. He was later rescued by the authorities.
The more recent case happened in 2016, when the Yen Tu National Forest and Monuments Management Board was releasing a king cobra when it heard a cry for help in the depths. After more than an hour of searching, the victim was found hanging on the fork of an ancient tree 30m high. Fortunately, the victim only suffered scratches and minor injuries, not life-threatening. After that, the victim was taken to the foot of Yen Tu mountain and transferred to the hospital for emergency treatment.
The man who escaped death mentioned above came from Bac Ninh to Yen Tu to worship the temple. After visiting and sightseeing at Dong Pagoda, he walked down the mountain, when he was more than 100m below the mountain, he climbed out of the fence to go to the toilet. Due to a slip, he fell from the mountain to a depth of about 200m.
