Adapting to new circumstances, 2K is enough

The Ministry of Health has just issued a document to suspend the application of domestic health declaration. Since then, different opinions have emerged.

“Adapting to new circumstances, doing 2K is enough”

That is the point of view shared by reader Bui Thi Huong VietNamNet after the article “Vietnam abolishes medical declaration“May 5th. Specifically, Ms. Huong commented: “Adapting to new circumstances, implementing 2K is enough, so the old regulations are cumbersome and expensive”.

Sharing the same opinion, reader Le Cuc said: “Completely support the regulation of removing testing before entry, it is very inconvenient for international tourists and Vietnamese when returning home when currently all F0 cases are have mild symptoms and can clear up on their own within a few days.” This is also what Nguyen Tan Dat thinks: “Agreeing to give up testing on entry, this regulation is meaningless and expensive in the current actual situation”.

Ngoc Anh also said that the decision of the Ministry of Health was “too right” and stated: “With the current situation in my opinion, testing on entry is completely unnecessary”. Meanwhile, Nguyen Thu Trang and many other readers expect strong developments in the near future: “We should create conditions to promote tourism, Vietnam has already lagged behind other countries in the region. ! Do as soon as possible! The opportunity for us to develop strong tourism is now.”

In another aspect, Son Ca readers reminded everyone: “Even if you give up everything, you still have to wear a mask. Masks are the best! Anti-epidemic, anti-dust, anti-sun…”

“The old regulations are not suitable, they will be removed”

This is the comment of quite a few readers who regularly follow the electronic newspaper VietNamNet. Dinh Thu Loan’s friend is an example. This reader shared: “Anti-epidemic has been and is on the right track! What is obsolete should be removed.

Paris HL’s friend emphasized: “If the old regulations are not suitable, then leave them. And there should be appropriate regulations in the new situation for the whole country to implement for unification.”

This is also the opinion of many friends such as Tran Trong Son or Do Minh Hoang… They said: “The situation has changed a lot, now life is completely new normal. The Ministry of Health needs to quickly abolish regulations that are no longer appropriate”, or “The epidemic is now saturated. Change accordingly, without sacrificing the country’s and people’s finances.

However, in addition to the comments agreeing with the new proposal of the Ministry of Health, many readers expressed other views. Doan Huu Trung shared: “Prevention is better than cure. It’s okay to be a little late, but when you get sick, the whole country suffers!”.

Nguyen Thao Nguyen said: “We should isolate people on entry because they come from different parts of the world and don’t know if they are carriers of new variants or not? It is necessary to undergo an isolation test upon arrival. Isolating at home is okay, but we need to separate them to make sure everything is okay before we integrate into the community!”

Before that, in a sharing with readers VietNamNet, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Lan Hieu stated: “It is necessary to stop the pre-entry test as soon as possible so that we can really return to normal life. Timely and appropriate policy application is the key to success in the Post-Covid-19 period in all countries.”
