Coffee cup spilled on my clothes and resume
Right from my freshman year, I knew my job after graduating from college would be very difficult to find a job. However, I did not dare to drop out of school or re-examine another faculty but continued to study.
Then, after 4 years of studying, I brought my degree in agricultural economics back to my hometown, but I couldn’t apply for a job. Back in the city, they shook their heads everywhere because their qualifications didn’t match.
During a year of graduation, I brought my documents to submit everywhere, but everywhere shook my head.
This morning, when I failed to submit my application, I was so depressed that I went to a cafe to relax and went online to find something to do. Because I can’t live forever with my parents’ aid money.
As I was staring at my phone, suddenly the waiter tripped, two cups of coffee spilled on my clothes and job application mine. Seeing that staff member fall on the floor, I hurriedly sat down to help her up. Seeing that her leg was bleeding, I quickly took a handkerchief from the bandage pocket to help.
While I worriedly asked her if she was in pain anywhere else, she profusely apologized to me for my carelessness. She saw my dark yellow coffee-soaked file and said: “My resume is broken, how can I apply for a job?”.
I choked up saying that from tomorrow, I will go look for a general job, so I don’t need that file anymore. Then she looked at my white shirt getting yellow and expressed her wish money compensation. I said how much is the shirt worth, taking your money turns out that I am a money lover?
When the owner ran over to scold the clumsy employee, I quickly admitted all the blame on myself and hoped not to blame her. Then I quickly walked out of the bar to avoid being noticed.
When I got to the parking lot, there was a person who introduced himself as the director of a trading company, and was just sitting across from me in the cafe. He said he was in need of a human resources officer, I can come to work tomorrow.
Seeing that I hesitated to show concern, he said he had seen my behavior with the waitress and was very pleased. So want to help me have a fine job.
I had no knowledge of human resources, accepted the job and was afraid to disturb his company. Do you think I should take this job?
