Da Nang: a group of young people wildly assaulted people in the middle of the street, making netizens angry

The clip was recorded by passers-by sitting in the car behind to record the incident that happened at the intersection between Ngo Quyen Street and Pham Van Dong Street, on the Han River Bridge in Son Tra District, Da Nang City.

According to the clip, three strong and powerful young men stormed and assaulted a man lying on the ground even though he was cowering and unable to resist. The image of the incident that occurred in broad daylight in a tourist city made passersby as well as netizens disgruntled.

Another clip is also circulating on social networks, recording the image of a group of people after assaulting others who got into a car to leave. The victim is a young man wearing a blue shirt trying to cope with the pain, using his phone to record a group of people who beat him with the license plate of the car. The other group of subjects was still very aggressive, cursing and intimidating passersby who dared to record their license plates.

After the assault, the above subjects got into a car and continued to curse and threaten and then left. For her part, the victim called the police agency and tried to use the phone to return to the control board of the other group’s car.

Talking to an Infonet reporter, Nguyen Phuoc Sang – a victim of the assault said. The incident happened on the afternoon of May 5, 2022, stemming from the initial cause of a traffic collision, the group of people in the other car rammed the rear of his car. When he was beaten, he did not have time to see how many people there were.

Currently, Mr. Sang is hospitalized for treatment of his injuries and monitoring results. The case has been handled by the Da Nang city police.

The clip of the group of subjects assaulting Mr. Sang quickly spread on social networks, attracting tens of thousands of times of angry expressions, comments and shares of netizens. Most of them expressed their displeasure at the group’s extravagant and violent behavior and wanted the authorities to seriously handle the case.

“I pray that the police will restore justice to my husband, he was hit but still beat people, those 3 people are too cruel and heartless.” The victim’s wife voiced her hope that the authorities would intervene.
