European countries step up their support to Ukraine
Ukraine has received more than 12 billion USD in aid both in weapons and finance from other countries.
The European Commission pledged 200 million euros in aid to people displaced from Ukraine. Meanwhile, France also committed to comprehensive financial support for Ukraine 2 billion USD. Other countries such as Finland, Czech, Croatia… also pledged millions of Euros for humanitarian aid and military efforts in Ukraine.
In a related development, Ukrainian President Zelensky on the same day launched a global fundraising platform to support Kiev for infrastructure reconstruction.
As of February 24 until now, Ukraine said it has received more than 12 billion USD in aid both in weapons and finance from other countries.
