Brai cave has been discovered by villagers since ancient times. During the war, Brai was a safe haven for soldiers and villagers. After the liberation day, Brai cave seems to be neglected. Occasionally, a few “photographers” or locals come here to satisfy their curiosity.
A large stalactite block is located deep inside the cave. Quang Tri province government believes that when Brai cave is “awakened” it will connect with other scenic spots to form a very attractive tourist route. At that time, the income and life of the local people will be better.
Currently, the cave has only been discovered about 500 m, according to the officials of the North Huong Hoa Nature Reserve, it is certainly very deep, because it may be located in the limestone system connecting with Quang Binh.
