Hanoi: Increase about 14,000 enrollment quotas for class 10 in the academic year 2022-2023

Hanoi Department of Education and Training has just approved and announced the target enrollment in class 10 academic year 2022-2023 of public high schools, autonomous public schools, specialized schools, private schools, vocational education centers – continuing education and vocational education institutions with enrollment students graduating from junior high schools in the city.

The number of candidates taking the exam to enter the 10th grade of a public high school increased by about 14,000 compared to the previous year, so the enrollment target of many schools also increased. In which, Ha Dong district and two districts of Me Linh and Thanh Oai simultaneously increased 30-45 targets in schools in the area. Some high schools in other districts have slightly increased adjustment.

Compared to the school year 2021-2022, the enrollment targets of the top public high schools that usually have high standards have increased, such as: Phan Dinh Phung School increased from 600 to 675, Kim Lien 675 to 765, Xuan Xuan The peak increased from 630 to 675… Some schools that kept their quota were Viet Duc (765); Cau Giay and Tran Phu – Hoan Kiem (720); Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Nguyen Gia Thieu, Pham Hong Thai, Thang Long (675)…

For gifted high schools and high schools with specialized classes, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training assigns the following quotas: Hanoi – Amsterdam gifted (560 majors, 45 non-specialists); Chu Van An (350 professionals, 315 non-specialists); Specialist Nguyen Hue (525); Son Tay (315 professionals, 270 amateurs).

The entrance exam to the 10th grade of a public non-specialized high school in the school year 2022-2023 in Hanoi will take place on June 18 and 19 with three exams. In which, candidates will take the Literature exam on the morning of June 18, the Foreign Language test on the afternoon of June 18 and the Math test on the morning of June 19.
