At 21:30 on the evening of May 5, the functional forces of Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City were still blocking and examining the scene of a traffic accident involving a series of motorbikes that occurred in the area, causing many injuries.
Before that, at 19:20 on the same day, a 7-seat car driven by a male driver (about 45 years old) circulated on Kha Van Can street from Linh Xuan overpass to Binh Thanh. When he had just arrived at the intersection of Kha Van Can – Duong Van Cam (near Thu Duc market, Thu Duc city), the car suddenly rushed across the road and hit many motorbikes.

The vehicle then crashed straight into a house on Kha Van Can Street, then backed up and hit many other motorbikes. The incident was recorded by a nearby security camera.
The accident left many people injured and transported to the hospital soon after.
The accident caused many injuries and damaged vehicles.
About 10 motorbikes were hit by “crazy” cars. However, there were 5 cars with minor damage and the driver was not injured, so he took the car out of the scene by himself, the remaining 5 motorbikes were severely damaged and deformed.
Currently, Thu Duc City’s functional forces are still blocking, examining the scene and investigating the cause.
