Mr. Dang Ha Viet will be the General Director of the General Department of Sports for the term 2022-2025.

Previously, after the former General Director of the General Department of Sports and Sports Vuong Bich Thang retired under the regime, the Deputy Director of the General Department of Sports and Sports Tran Duc Phan was the person in charge of the highest professional agency of the sports industry.

Assoc. Coming from and growing up in basketball, Mr. Dang Ha Viet has made a great contribution to the development of Vietnam’s basketball in general and the Vietnam Professional Basketball League (VBA) in particular. In addition, Mr. Dang Ha Viet has always devoted himself to the development of sports in the Olympic competition system such as athletics, swimming, weightlifting, shooting, cycling, etc. when holding the management role. of the sports industry.
