Prosecuting the case of making false records of withdrawal at a high school in Hai Phong

The police determined that from August 2020 to August 2021, at Nguyen Trai High School, address in An Hung commune, An Duong district, a false record of payment for construction items occurred to withdraw money from the state budget. , contrary to regulations on financial management, causing damage to the state.

On May 5, 2022, the Investigation Police Agency, Hai Phong City Public Security issued a decision to prosecute a criminal case. to investigate and handle according to the provisions of law.

It is known that at the beginning of the school year 2021 – 2022, the Hai Phong Department of Education and Training received a denunciation about violations that occurred at Nguyen Trai High School. The department has set up an inspection team to verify.

After the inspection, the unit found that the authority exceeded the regulations, so it reported it to the People’s Committee of Hai Phong City.

Immediately after, Hai Phong City People’s Committee asked the police to investigate.

Accordingly, the leader of Nguyen Trai High School in the period before October 2021 had made false records of payment for construction items, including: Items for installing curtains for classrooms, building heat-resistant buildings. 3 floors, repairing the monument in the school campus.

Although not performing these items, related individuals still make payments and withdraw money from the State budget in contravention of financial management regulations.

The investigating agency is continuing to identify a number of related individuals with signs of forging records and documents of agencies and organizations.
