Si Thanh was publicly scolded by the director for his bad acting, dumb voice, and stupidity

Recently in the program Challenge Is Play, Si Thanh shared about how she once cried bitterly when the director scolded her for her bad acting.

Specifically, once when she went to film, the female singer was directly commented on by the director about acting. However, this director did not call Si Thanh out in particular, but held a loudspeaker to speak in front of everyone in the film crew.

The director snapped: “Hey, what did Miss Si Thanh do to act so bad? Her acting sucks, the dialogue is dull. There are some lines that can’t be done. It’s just stupid, acting like that, but also asking to be an actor“.

Si Thanh said that when she recounted that she had reduced her speech, in fact, the words of the director at that time were much harsher and more formidable.

Those words hurt the voice born in 1986. She ran to the toilet, hugged the script and sobbed. After that, Si Thanh decided to give up the role, quit filming and go home.

Si Thanh is upset: “If I had to go back and forth many times, the director’s reaction would be right. But I only got to the second set and he dumped everything on me like that.

I also know, that director’s nature has been like that ever since, very straightforward and always shows: ‘That’s what I am, I’m straightforward, I’m not afraid of anyone’. He used to curse at actors on set.

My scene was at the end of the day, he came back from filming all day, so how much frustration was poured out on me. To him, those words may mean nothing, but to me, it’s like a knife stabbing in the heart“.

Si Thanh confided that she had witnessed another director who also commented, but frankly in moderation, at the right time to make the actor aware and change. Not as in her case frankly, being rude will hurt others.
