Zeus the dog lives with owner Brittany Davis, in Bedford, Texas, USA. Zeus is a gray and brown Great Dane dog recognized by Guinness World Records as the tallest dog in the world with a height of more than 1 meter when standing upright on 4 legs.

Its height has dislodged all dogs, causing many people and children in the area to think that Zeus is really a horse.

Brittany Davis said she has dreamed of raising a Great Dane since she was a child. Later, that dream came true when her brother gave her a dog Zeus as a gift.

At the time of adoption by Brittany Davis, the dog Zeus was only 8 weeks old. “He’s a very large dog, from the moment we adopted him, even though he was just a small dog, his paws were huge,” Brittany said.

Zeus was born in the same litter with 5 other puppies, he was the largest dog in that litter. Like most Great Danes, Zeus grew up very quickly. Zeus is tall so he can use the sink as a place to drink his water.

Brittany Davis said: “Zeus has completely changed our family. He’s such an adorable, docile dog. It’s so much fun.”

Every time Zeus went out, he immediately attracted everyone’s attention because of his oversized height. People often ask Brittany Davis if there is any secret to making the dog so tall, but the answer is no. Many people mistakenly think it is a horse.

The veterinarians were also amazed at the growth of Zeus. It usually eats 6 cups of food a day, never letting its owner get angry because of naughty or destructive. It is quite gentle and sociable.

Brittany Davis and her family are proud of Zeus, of the record his pet dog has achieved. “It’s amazing that I can now say this is the tallest dog I’ve ever seen. Definitely, he’s a record holder, recognized by Guinness World Records,” Brittany Davis said.

Previously, the record for the tallest dog ever held was a dog of the Great Dane breed and named Zeus, 1.2 meters tall. But this dog died in 2014.
