The group of NASA astronauts left the ISS to return to Earth

The astronaut group of the US Space Agency (NASA) was brought up by the space exploration technology corporation SpaceX International Space Station (ISS).

SpaceX’s Crew Dragon spacecraft carrying three NASA astronauts and a German astronaut from the European Space Agency (ESA) left the ISS at 5am on 5/5 GMT (12h same day Vietnam time). ), start the flight back to Earth Expected to last about 23 hours.

After a series of rockets sent the Endurance spacecraft carrying a group of four astronauts safely away from the ISS, their return trip to Earth is expected to last about 23 hours. The ship is forecasted to land off the coast of Florida, USA at noon on May 6 (Vietnam time).

The ship carries about 250 kg of cargo from the ISS to Earth. The ISS station is currently in orbit 400 km from Earth.

The crew on board Endurance, including NASA astronauts Tom Marshburn (61 years old), Raja Chari (44 years old) and Kayla Barron (34 years old), along with ESA astronaut Matthias Maurer (52 years old), boarded the ship. ISS on 11/11/2021.

The official travel team, named Crew 3, is the third official crew to be sent to the ISS by SpaceX for NASA and long-term work on this station. The team left the ISS about a week after welcoming its replacement crew to the ISS.

In April, a private crew member brought to the ISS by SpaceX under a contract for Houston-based Axiom Space left the station, ending two weeks in orbit.

SpaceX is headquartered in California, USA, founded by billionaire Elon Musk in 2002. In the past two years, this company has made a total of 7 trips to space.
