According to the Hanoi Tax Department, by the closing period February 28, 2022, there were 732 taxpayers who owed taxes and fees for the first time with the amount of VND 355.2 billion; 271 taxpayers have bad debts with the amount of nearly 13 billion VND.
Topping the list with land-related debt is National Sports Complex 832.6 billion in debt. As of April 14, the tax and fee debts of the National Sports Complex were VND 45.5 billion.
In addition, there are also member companies of Tan Hoang Minh Group that have also been “hidden” by Hanoi Tax Department for tax debts.
Specifically, after paying 15 billion VND, on April 14, the amount of taxes and fees owed by the Winter Palace Joint Stock Company was 132.3 billion VND. Soleil Hotel Services and Investment Joint Stock Company owes 20.7 million dong of taxes and fees, more than 846 million dong of land tax.

The Hanoi Tax Department warned project owners and businesses to soon arrange financial resources to pay tax debts to the state budget in accordance with regulations before the tax authorities apply more drastic measures.
