Before that, on the evening of May 5, when patrolling security and order, Truong Long Commune Police discovered that TMT (13 years old) was wearing a school uniform, riding a bicycle, wearing a backpack, showing signs of fatigue, so he stopped the car. test.

Through interrogation, it was known that T. escaped from her family to ride a bicycle from Tan Binh district, Ho Chi Minh City to her girlfriend’s house named V. (12 years old, living in Truong Long commune). T. and V. previously knew each other through social networks.

The bicycle was used by T. as a means of cycling from Ho Chi Minh City to Can Tho.

Truong Long Commune Police added that T did not have a mobile phone and only carried 500,000 VND in him. During the whole 200km distance from Ho Chi Minh City to Can Tho, the boy looked at the signposts and asked passersby. Along the way, the boy stopped at stores selling mobile phones, then used the display phone to log in to his online account and asked his girlfriend to send the location and continued on his way.

However, before he could meet T.’s girlfriend, he was discovered by Truong Long commune police. By 2:00 p.m. on May 6, Truong Long commune police had contacted T’s family to come pick him up.
