Declan Rice is in danger of being fined by UEFA

On the morning of May 6, West Ham United had to receive a 0-1 loss to Eintracht Frankfurt in the second leg of the Europa League semi-finals, thereby being eliminated from the Europa League with a total loss of 1-3.

In the match taking place at Deutsche Bank Park stadium, referee Jesus Gil Manzano showed a red card directly to 2 members of the West Ham side. It was vice-captain Aaron Cresswell (19th minute) and head coach David Moyes (82nd minute). After the match ended, another West Ham vice-captain, Declan Rice, could not contain his bitterness and annoyance.

In the pitch tunnel, Rice repeatedly chased the referee Manzano with an extremely angry attitude. The 23-year-old midfielder shouted: “Reference (VAR), reference… You look so poor! How could you do that? Straight up! You got paid. It’s a bribe! !” accompanied by a few curse words with very vulgar language.

UEFA has received a video that shows Rice insulting referee Manzano. Accompanying it is his incident report. According to UEFA rules, any swearing at the referee will result in a three-match ban and possible fines.
