Male student intentionally killed 4 women he didn’t know

According to SCMP Reportedly, on May 4, the Hong Kong court (China) tried Liu Yueteng (26 years old) on the charge of Intentional killing. Liu is the one who caused a series of knife attacks on a hill in Sham Shui Po, which attracted attention in October 2019.

Specifically, Liu Yueteng stabbed 4 random women on the street with a knife. All four victims said that they did not know the perpetrator and had never met him.

Police were present at the scene after receiving information from people

The first victim was Mrs. Lam King-king (57 years old). Lam said that before Liu stabbed her, he had been hanging around for about an hour. Then, Liu directly stabbed Mrs. Lam’s neck and back, 3 women witnessed the horror scene and ran to call for help.

Liu still did not let go of the victims, he chased all 3 and in turn stabbed them with a knife, wounding them. After committing the crime, he took a taxi and fled.

Next, Liu left Hong Kong to return to China. Liu dyed her hair neon green and re-entered Hong Kong on October 13 by plane. As soon as he got off the airport, he was arrested by the police.

Initially, Liu admitted his behavior but refused to say the motive for the crime. However, with professional skills, the police quickly forced Liu to clarify. Accordingly, the purpose of his murder is to “get” the death penalty.

As noted by the local media, Liu Yueteng himself suffered from depression suicidal many times but all failed. So he devised a crazy plan to get the death sentence.

It is known that the current law of Hong Kong does not have the death penalty, so after committing the crime, Liu fled to China because if he was tried by a Chinese court, he could achieve his wish.

However, after the final trial, Liu had to receive the highest penalty in Hong Kong, which is life in prison.
