North Korea just launched ballistic missile from a submarine

According to Reuters news agency, citing the South Korean military, the missile was launched from waters off the coastal city of Sinpo. This is where North Korea placed equipment to test-launch a submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM). The test took place at about 2pm this afternoon, local time.

South Korea said that South Korean and US intelligence officials were analyzing the additional information in detail.
