The sacred flame of the 31st SEA Games was solemnly carried to My Dinh Stadium

The ceremony to ask for the fire to light the torch SEA Games 31 was City of Hanoi held at 5pm on 6.5. Joining the torch group were leaders of Hanoi city led by Mr. Chu Ngoc Anh – Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hanoi City leading with industry leaders sport. Represent Vietnamese sports delegation to attend 31st SEA Games there were Mr. Tran Duc Phan – Deputy General Director of General Department of Sports and Sports, head of the delegation.

There are also 11 elite athletes from Hanoi, including: Vu Thanh An (fencing), Do Thi Anh Nguyet (archery), Dang Hong Ha (shooting), Bui Thi Thu Thao (athletics), Bui Yen Ly (muay), Nguyen Thi Tam (boxing), Vu Tien Dung ( pencak silat), Chu Dieu Hoang Linh (taekwondo), Nguyen Thi Ha Thanh (gymnastics), Nguyen Thi Lua (wrestling) and Duong Thuy Vi (wushu).

The sacred fire was carried by the procession, taken to My Dinh yard and to Uncle Ho’s worship room – where the fire was kept. Swordsman Vu Thanh An solemnly transferred the torch for Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hanoi, Chu Ngoc Anh, to light the lamp to save the fire at My Dinh yard.

The flame will be kept at the lamp until the opening day of the 31st SEA Games on the evening of May 12 at My Dinh Stadium.
