Den Vu invites musician Tran Tien to sing rap in an upcoming song
On the evening of May 7, rapper Den Vau suddenly released a teaser of a new MV called “Going in the summer”. The teaser captures the image of him and veteran musician Tran Tien working in the studio for a new song. The two happily harmonized in a space filled with music. At the end of the video, the author of “Obviously dark horse” sings: “Everybody has a song in their life”.

On his personal page, Den Vau shared his happiness when working with musician Tran Tien: “As you can see in this teaser, Den has already “invited” Uncle Tran Tien to play rap music. Making music seems difficult to keep up with, but stepping into the studio, voicing the voice of the music, everything is so smooth.”
Musician Tran Tien was born in 1947, the younger brother of People’s Artist Tran Hieu. He used to be a solo singer of the Hanoi Dance and Music Troupe. From 1971 to 1978, he attended the Hanoi Conservatory of Music, graduating with a degree in vocal music and symphony composition. Musician Tran Tien has many famous songs, going into many generations’ memories such as: The Melodies of the Fatherland, Footprints in the Sand, Improvisation with the Dark Horse, Homeland, Colors, My Sister… He is considered a modernizer of folk music and composed Vietnamese pop, rock, blue jazz and country.

Meanwhile, Den Vau (born in 1989) used to work as a sanitation worker due to difficult circumstances, before achieving much success in music. After 6 years of working with rap music, he owns a series of “hit” songs such as: Let’s hide together, Guess what I’m thinking, Strange day, This song is so chill... Black Vau has won the Contribution Award and is one of the few successful artists from the underground wave in Vietnam.
Before musician Tran Tien, Den Vau once invited many different artists to combine in his song such as: Nguyen Thao, Vu, Ngoc Linh, MTV… He shared: “I want to show positive perspectives. but still alive, bringing the spirit of youth and era through rap songs”.
