Liverpool out of breath, and Tottenham could not be satisfied when they dropped two points. Tottenham will be forced to win against the neighboring team in the next confrontation on the evening of May 12. This battle will mean tens of millions of dollars, to compete for the Champions League.

Liverpool and Tottenham were not happy, but the neutral audience witnessed the best game of the season. The tempo of the game was maintained at a high level throughout the duration, with a series of missed opportunities and two bounces against the post and the crossbar.

The homeowner holds twice as much ball and finishes nearly three times as much as the opponent, but Tottenham It also creates moments that can decide the game if you are more careful. The visitors did not hesitate to deploy the short ball from the bottom up, accepting risks when being pressured by Liverpool.

The tempo of the match pushed to the highest level towards the end of the first half. In the 39th minute, midfielder Virgil van Dijk hit the crossbar from a corner. Liverpool played more aggressively in the second half and accepted the risk of being counter-attacked. In the 56th minute, the host stepped up to close, but Lloris suddenly passed to Emerson Royal’s position in the middle of the field. Royal flicked the ball quickly for Harry Kane to receive the ball outside the Liverpool penalty area, when the home defense only had one layer left. Kane pulled the ball past Fabinho, then passed it into the penalty area to Ryan Sessegnon. This defender did not shoot, but stretched horizontally for Son to cushion the empty net.

This is the Korean striker’s 20th goal in the Premier League this season, two less than the leader of the competition Mohamed Salah. Both have three games left to improve their performance.

The Anfield audience was visibly nervous, but the Liverpool player was not dismayed. Klopp continued to urge his students to press and they were rewarded with an equalizer in the 74th minute. Diaz received the ball outside the penalty area, pushed a rhythm to create space and then shot from about 25 meters away. The ball hit Bentancur’s foot, causing Lloris to not have time to recover and save.
