In 2021, the German automaker has two times increased the price for GLC with an increase of 20-40 million VND for each version depending on the version.

The remaining models of the German automaker are also experiencing a price channel situation such as E-Class but the difference is lower, 10-20 million dong for spot rate. With S-Class, GLE, GLS…, at no additional cost to the customer, but the expected lead time can be 3-12 months depending on the version and when the order is placed. According to dealers, the shortage of cars started at the beginning of this year because of a lack of parts in the industry. Imported car models are more limited in supply than assembled cars. Mercedes Vietnam only assembles three models in the country: C-Class, E-Class and GLC. The S-Class model has been imported since the new version is available.
