Feng Ying (43 years old, Singapore) discovered bruises on her 2-year-old daughter’s face and neck after returning from kindergarten. Her husband also noticed bruises on her face when he picked her up from school but didn’t know where the wound came from. Later that day, the daughter came home with more bruises and red streaks on the back of her head. Suspecting their daughter might be abused, the couple immediately contacted the police and sent their daughter out of school.

When reporting, Feng Ying said that the daughter had just confessed to being “slapped with love” by the teacher and pinched all over her body, and the police immediately launched an investigation to verify the incident.

A spokesman for the school said: “It is too early to draw a detailed conclusion on the incident at this time. We initiated an internal investigation immediately upon receiving news of the incident and found nothing to be wrong.” The spokesperson also stressed that the “safety, health and well-being of our customers.” every child” is their priority.

However, Feng Ying also told Shin Min Daily News that she contacted a former colleague at school to find out more. According to the same colleague, another parent called the police to complain about a teacher but was dismissed.
