Thai restaurants use mini trains to transport diners
The owner of a restaurant in Thailand decided to build a mini train to transport customers to visit the restaurant premises. This special entertainment method has quickly helped the restaurant attract a large number of customers to experience new sensations.
Xiao Er Hoi Kham Na Rung Restaurant is open from 10am to 9pm daily located near rice fields in Thailand’s Surin province. The owner of the restaurant is Adisak (33 years old) who used to be an electrical engineer.
Talking about the reason for opening the restaurant, Mr. Adisak said the inspiration came from a Chinese movie. The name of the restaurant is also taken from a character in this movie.
From his own experience, Mr. Adisak has launched a miniature train model for customers to enjoy. All stages of the train’s production were completed during Adisak’s time as an electrical engineer with a meager budget and raw materials sourced from the used rail transit system.
Worth mentioning, Mr. Adisak’s restaurant was built right on the farm, so diners not only come to enjoy the food but also have time to admire the natural scenery with vegetable gardens and ponds. The restaurant also expands its business into the field of event organization.
“The main highlight is the train that runs around the restaurant. I created the mini train to fulfill my childhood dream. I want people with the same dream as me to come to the restaurant to enjoy the food and have fun,” said Adisak.
Mr. Adisak’s mini train is designed to be divided into 3 carriages and can carry 12 people at the same time on each trip. Both adults and children can sit on the train to go 2 rounds around the restaurant for 10 baht per person.
Mr. Adisak added that the ingredients prepared by the restaurant’s chefs for diners were purchased from local people. Therefore, customers can scan QR codes to check food quality and safety.
