A German Shepherd named Mandraque was worried when his owner was seriously injured. He was in a wheelchair, an ambulance came to his home to take him to a hospital in Minerois, Brazil.
Loyal Mandraque quickly ran after the ambulance despite not knowing how long the distance was. When the ambulance arrived at the hospital, the boss was brought inside for the doctors to examine.
The Mandraque was determined to stand outside the gate waiting, refusing to leave half a step. It waited for a long time before being discovered by medical staff.
As a rule, pets are not allowed into the hospital, so as soon as the patient’s condition improved, the medical staff took the owner out so that he could be seen.
Fortunately, Mandraque’s boss was not seriously injured and was later taken to the hospital.
Dias, the paramedic, said the dog jumped up and started licking and kissing his owner as soon as he saw him on the stretcher.
After the owner was discharged from the hospital and taken home by ambulance, the dog followed the vehicle for a distance of 8 km. The ambulance driver was going very slowly so the dog could keep up on the way home.
Dias said: “Both have reached home safely. My duty is to take care of the patient’s physical health, knowing he has a loyal, caring, caring dog, I am very happy. happy for him. That is also the greatest consolation of the patient. Very emotional.”
Igor Paiva, a doctor at the hospital shared the story on social media and it quickly went viral, attracting many people’s attention.
