The First Lady of the United States served dinner to soldiers stationed in Romania
US First Lady Jill Biden recently visited servicemen stationed at Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base in Romania.
“I know it’s been difficult for your family to be stationed here, just like when my late son Beau Biden was deployed to Iraq,” Biden told several troops stationed at the base. Mihail Kogalniceanu.
Ms. Jill Biden then joined the kitchen staff in serving up macaroni, cheese and baked potatoes to US service members for dinner.
According to AP news agency, the Mihail Kogalniceanu base in Romania is currently home to about 1,600 US troops. This place is located near the Black Sea and nearly 100km from the border with Ukraine.
