Police of Yen Thanh district (Nghe An) have just prosecuted Tran Van Dung (born in 1979, residing in Phuc Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district) for property theft.
Previously, on April 28, 2022, Yen Thanh district police received a report from a resident of My Thanh commune (Yen Thanh district) about the thief prying open the trunk of a motorbike and stealing 50 million VND. face and 1 phone with a total value of about 55 million VND.

At about 20:30 on April 29, 2022, Yen Thanh district police presided over and coordinated with police forces of communes: Phuc Thanh, Tho Thanh, Tang Thanh and police force of Yen Thanh town to arrest Tran Van. Dung (SN 1979, residing in Phuc Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district) about property theft.
At the police station, Dung confessed to the crime. By the time of his arrest, Dung had caused 4 cases of property theft in Yen Thanh district in the form of stealing car trunks and taking advantage of crowded events to pickpocket people. Artifacts seized included 80 million dong in cash, a motorbike, and two mobile phones.
