1. How to pay traffic violation fines online
Step 1: Access the national public service portal dichvucong.gov.vn.
Step 2: Click on the Online payment section, select Next Pay fines for administrative violations and select Look up and pay for traffic violations.
Step 3: Fill in the required information.
You can search by decision code or by violation record. If searching by decision code, select the force that makes the sanctioning decision, enter Decision number and security codethen press “Search”.
If searching according to the violation record, it is necessary to enter the following information:
– Minute number: It is the number of traffic violation minutes made by the Traffic Police.
– Full name of the violator: The person named in the traffic violation record.
– Select the province, city/unit to make a record of fines for traffic violations.
– Date of violation: is the date of the traffic violation, recorded on the traffic violation minutes.
– Enter the security code and press the button “Search“.
Step 4: Select a bank to pay the fine and follow the instructions to pay the fine amount in the minutes.
The system will switch to the interface of the Payment Platform of the National Public Service Portal – Payment Platform to select a bank or a payment intermediary. In case users do not have accounts with connected banks like Vietcombamk, Vietinbank can choose to pay through payment intermediaries like VNPTPay or Momo.
Everyone can DOWNLOAD RECEIPT to a computer or phone to present when receiving the temporary detention papers at the sanctioning agency (If required).
Step 5: After successful payment, the fine payer can choose to receive the documents back at the place of sanctioning decision or by post.

People who do not have an account on the National Public Service Portal can still pay their fines online.
