What do F1 drivers usually ride?
Regularly driving some of the fastest machines in the world, racers choose a high-performance model that commutes every day, minus a few.
Lewis Hamilton – Mercedes GLE
The 37-year-old Mercedes-AMG F1 driver also uses a Mercedes when not on the track. The GLE is just one of a number of other cars owned by Hamilton, and appears to have been purchased recently by him.
Fernando Alonso – Honda CR-FIRE
The 40-year-old veteran driver is now a member of the Alpine F1 team. At the 2017 Italian Grand Prix while at McLaren, Alonso was caught driving a Honda CR-V to the track.
Charles Leclerc – Ferrari 488 Pista Spider
The 24-year-old Scuderia Ferrari driver chose a Ferrari 488 with a special number plate 488P. Super car painted in matte black with white and red stripes honoring the color of the Monaco flag.
Max Verstappen – Aston Martin DB11
The 24-year-old driver of the Red Bull Racing team again chose the Aston Martin DB11 model. The car is painted dark blue with striking lemon yellow brake pads.
DB11 uses 4.0 V8 or 5.2 V12 engines both incorporating twin turbochargers. Power respectively 503 and 600 horsepower.
Sergio Perez – Honda Civic Type CHEAP
The 32-year-old Red Bull Racing team driver chose a high-performance Japanese hatchback again. Civic Type R is equipped with a 2-liter engine, 4-cylinder in line, turbocharged combined with a 6-speed manual transmission. Vehicle capacity 316 horsepower.
George Russell – Mercedes-AMG C63 S Coupe

Valtteri Bottas – Mercedes AMG GT Black series
This year is Bottas’ first season with the Alfa Romeo F1 team after five years at the Mercedes-AMG team. In August 2021, he chose a Mercedes-AMG GT Black series with some personal upgrades. Even, the black car is decorated with the German brand logo on the body.
Esteban Ocon – Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster
Ocon raced for the BWT Alpine F1 team through his sophomore year. In addition to racing models and sponsor cars, the 25-year-old French driver appeared with only one other model, the Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster in the photo taken in July 2018.
Daniel Ricciardo – McLaren 720S
The 32-year-old McLaren F1 driver also owns a McLaren. The photo above was taken in 2021 and Ricciardo is sitting next to the blue 720S supercar with a bright smile.
Mick Schumacher – Yamaha MT-09
The son of legendary F1 driver Michael Schumacher currently races for the Haas F1 team and has entered his second year. The 23-year-old boy has been seen many times going to the track on a Yamaha MT-09 motorcycle.
