Yuukaku-hen continues to be heavily censored in China, the sensitive scene must change
As you know, almost all anime series go through China’s censorship board before reaching fans in the country. In spite of Kimetsu no Yaiba is a popular anime, but it also does not escape this situation. One of the more commonly known censorship measures is the prohibition of any form of showing off skin, including breasts and thighs.

Earlier, a post went viral on Chinese social media when Daki put on pants against Tanjiro. Now, a new screenshot is trending on Twitter, taken from the Chinese streaming service, Bilibili. In the picture we can see the three wives of the Yin Pillar, Suma, Makio and Hinatsuru. In the initial scene, they can be seen in quite eye-catching costumes and revealing many “sensitive” parts.

In the Chinese version of Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen, this outfit was modified to cover the chest. According to some social media users, the Chinese version of censorship makes Yin Zhu’s three wives much less hot.
As you know, there is a lot of “fake” censorship spread on the internet. One of them is the following image, where the user claims that it is taken from the Chinese version of Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen, but it is simply a fan edited version and not must be the official broadcast in this country.

Not only in China, anime or manga series are strictly censored, but in fact, many other countries also do this. Previously, Korea censored the My Dress Up Darling anime very carefully while Malaysia censored the Attack on Titan manga series and created quite ridiculous images.
Anime Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen is based on a manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. The author began writing the Kimetsu no Yaiba manga in February 2016 in Weekly Shonen Jump. The manga ended publication in 2020 with all manga chapters published in 23 volumes. Studio Ufotable has adapted into an anime, which was broadcast in April 2019. Part 3 of the series is currently in production and will be released in the near future.
