A series of key projects of VND 194,000 billion in Gia Lai
Gia Lai province sets out the common task of administrative reform, improving the business environment, enhancing competitiveness to promote investment attraction; on socio-economic development planning, land use planning, construction planning, compensation and site clearance to create a clean land fund to call for investment… These tasks are set out based on in the spirit of sticking to the goals, tasks and solutions of Resolution No. 07-NQ/TU on promoting the attraction of investment resources for the development of agriculture, processing industry, renewable energy industry and tourism by 2030.
Specifically, in the period of 2021 – 2025, Gia Lai is expected to attract 82 projects in the fields of agriculture, processing industry, renewable energy and tourism, with the total investment capital of the projects expected to be about 194,000 billion VND.
Projects in the agricultural sector have an estimated total investment of more than 7,000 billion VND. Projects include:
– The project of Hi-tech Agricultural Park in Dak Doa district covers an area of nearly 460 hectares with a total estimated investment of about 1,490 billion VND.
– The project of hi-tech animal husbandry in Chu Puh district covers an area of 100 hectares with a total estimated investment of about 1,030 billion VND.
– The project of raising beef cattle for fattening in Chu Prong district is implemented on an area of 200 hectares with a total estimated investment of about VND 1,400 billion.
– The project of Forest Park applying high technology in Mang Yang district is implemented on an area of more than 327 hectares with a total estimated investment of 3,100 billion VND.
The processing industry has a number of typical projects such as:
– Refined sugar factory project in An Khe town has a capacity of 40,000 tons of raw materials/day with a total investment of about 900 billion VND.
– The project of animal feed factories in industrial clusters in the province has a capacity of 100,000 tons/year with a total estimated investment of about 1,208 billion VND.
– The project of cattle factory in industrial clusters in the province has a capacity of 20,000 tons/year with a total estimated investment of 900 billion VND.
In addition, the renewable energy industry is expected to have up to 38 projects with a total investment of nearly VND 157,000 billion:
– 2 Cuu An and Song An wind power plants in An Khe town with a total capacity of 92.4 MW with a total investment of more than VND 3,800 billion.
– The Ia Le 1 wind power plant project in Chu Puh district with a capacity of 100 MW has a total investment of more than VND 4,021 billion.
– Yang Trung Wind Power Plant Project in Kong Chro District with a capacity of 145MW with a total investment of more than VND 6,246 billion.
– Cho Long wind power plant in Kong Chro district has a total investment of more than VND 6,953 billion.
– Wind power projects under Power planning VIII approved by competent authorities are expected to have a total scale of about 1,500 MW, with a total estimated investment of more than VND 61,500 billion.
– Krong Pa 2 solar power project in Krong Pa district with a capacity of 49 MWp with a total investment of VND 1,131 billion
– KN Ia Ly – Gia Lai floating solar power project in Chu Pah district with a capacity of 500 MWp with a total investment of more than 9,559 billion VND
– Solar power projects (water surface and ground) according to power planning VIII approved by competent authorities have a total estimated scale of about 550MWp, with a total investment of about 13,750 billion VND…
Besides, Gia Lai also focuses on tourism with big projects such as:
– Bien Ho – Chu Dang Ya tourist area project in Ho Chi Minh City. Pleiku and Chu Pah district have an area of 5,191 ha with an estimated total investment capital of about 5,000 billion VND
– Pine hill cultural park project in the city. Pleiku and Grai district on an area of 128 hectares with a total investment of about 1,000 billion VND
– The Ayun Ha lake eco-tourism area project in Phu Thien district on an area of 500 hectares has a total estimated investment capital of about 1,600 billion VND.
