According to CBRE’s report, apartment prices in the first quarter of 2022 increased by 9% over the same period. Market survey of Savills Vietnam shows that the market has appeared apartments in Gia Lam and Hoai Duc areas with prices over 50 million VND/m2. Even the neighboring provinces of Hanoi such as Hung Yen also have apartment projects of 80 million VND/m2, equivalent to the price of apartments in the center of Hanoi. Apartment prices in some upcoming projects are expected to increase by up to 15%.

According to a forecast from CBRE, in 2022, the price of apartments in Hanoi will continue to increase by 3-7% depending on the segment, corresponding to an increase of several hundred million dong for a mid-range apartment. House prices have risen sharply while income growth has not kept pace. Therefore, many people decided to join the wave of decentralization – leaving the central core to an area with a “easier” price.
