In the afternoon, they went to Da Ton Lake, Mr. Viet took a motorboat to transport everyone to the island in the middle of the lake to visit the cooperative office. When about 100 m from the island encountered a strong wind, the boat was sunk by the waves. The three of them helped each other swim, dragging one of the group’s members who was now unconscious to the shore.
The other two are missing. The Tan Phu district’s functional forces rescued the boat and deployed to rescue the remaining people.
Da Ton is an artificial irrigation lake built 36 years ago, more than 433 hectares wide, with a capacity of about 20 million m3, providing water for agriculture, the deepest place is about 20 meters.
