Clarifying the organization of the beauty contest “underground” in Quang Ninh

Before that, from May 2 to 4, at Paradise hotel, in Tuan Chau ward, Ha Long city, a beauty contest named “Miss Yoga Vietnam 2022” took place. The above beauty contest was organized by MC Media Media and Entertainment Joint Stock Company (registered address in Co Nhue ward, Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi), with 31 contestants participating.

The event is widely advertised on social networks, the event’s billboards have the logo bearing the words “Vietnam – Endless Beauty” of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and logos of many other sponsoring businesses. The image of 31 beauties of the Miss Yoga Vietnam 2022 contest taken at Tuan Chau tourist area is spread and shared on social networks quite densely.

The Quang Ninh Department of Culture and Sports confirmed that MC Media Media and Entertainment Joint Stock Company had submitted an application for a license to organize this event, but due to insufficient procedures, it was not accepted.

Also according to information from the Inspector of the Department of Culture and Sports of Quang Ninh, it is expected that on May 11, a representative of MC Media Media and Entertainment Joint Stock Company will be present in Quang Ninh to clarify the case.
