Comprehensive inspection of 27 investment projects in Kon Plong district

On May 9, according to a source that PV Vietnamese people obtained, the People’s Committee of Kon Tum province has made a decision to comprehensively inspect the observance of the law by investors in the implementation of projects in Kon Plong district.

Specifically, the inspection team includes 13 members from relevant departments and agencies, led by the Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, to conduct a comprehensive inspection of 27 investment projects in this district.

According to the decision, the time limit for project inspection is from the time of approval of the investment policy to the time of inspection. The inspection period is 45 days from the date of announcement of the decision.

After finishing the inspection, the head of the inspection team is responsible for summarizing and reporting to the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee on the inspection results; propose handling measures for violations (if any) according to the provisions of law.

It is known that these are investment projects in growing medicinal plants, vegetables – flowers in cold lands, eco-tourism, forest protection and management… Most of these projects are behind schedule, some of which are in violation. regulations on land use, in which many projects are concluded and proposed to be terminated by the Government Inspector. For example, the project of Planting medicinal herbs under the forest canopy combined with eco-tourism to manage and protect the forest of Kon Tum Pharmaceutical Development and Investment Joint Stock Company, the project of Planting medicinal plants under the forest canopy in Dak commune. In addition to the 27 investment projects of the above enterprises, according to PV Dan Viet’s research, the People’s Committee of Kon Tum province previously assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to lead and coordinate with relevant agencies to conduct a comprehensive inspection. the allocation of land to build villas without auction of land use rights in Mang Den town, Kon Plong district.
