Honda HR-V 2023 will be equipped with a more powerful engine

Honda HR-V 2023 in the US will be equipped with a 2.0L engine, different from the 1.5L engine like in Japan and other markets.

Recently, the certification database of the California Air Resource Board (CARB) has been updated and now there is data showing that the Honda HR-V 2023 will be equipped with a 2.0L engine. In addition, the car is likely to have 2 transmission options, front-wheel and 2-wheel drive.

Although the CARB database does not have information on the power of the 2.0L engine, but with the HR-V sharing the same platform as the Civic, it is likely that this engine of the HR-V will also produce 158 horsepower and torque. – 187Nm of torque similar to Civic.
