09/05/2022 12:34 GMT+7

The reality of enrollment in previous years shows that many candidates do not understand how to apply for admission, so they lose their chances of being admitted, or are not admitted to the desired industry.

Advising candidates on how to register to increase their chances of getting into the desired field, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy – Director of the Higher Education Department (Ministry of Education and Training) said: “According to regulations, the Ministry of Education and Training requires requires training institutions and candidates to enter data into the common system to run “virtual filtering”. The process of running “virtual filtering” will only allow each candidate (according to personal identification) to only win 1 highest priority.

Therefore, even if a candidate is eligible for admission to 5 – 10 majors/schools, they will only be admitted to 1 place. And to ensure that candidates are admitted to their favorite and most suitable aspirations, candidates need to consider putting those aspirations first in order from 1 to the end.

Also according to this expert, candidates can apply for many aspirations to one school and many schools, but only when registering on the system of the Ministry of Education and Training, the prioritization of aspirations makes sense.

Therefore, in addition to registering their aspirations for admission to different fields of study according to the requirements of the schools, candidates must enter the registration data of all aspirations into the system of the Ministry of Education and Training in order of priority. first. The priority order is only shown on this system.

Candidates who are eligible to be admitted to 5-10 majors/schools will only be admitted to 1 place, so be careful when arranging their aspirations.

Regarding choosing the right school, having a job right after graduation, Dr. Dong Van Ngoc – Rector of Hanoi College of Electromechanics said that in order to choose the right school, candidates must identify themselves. What do I want, what are my abilities? About the future, dare to dream about what you want to do at an agency or enterprise in the future, according to the nature and model? And what is the profession that I love and look forward to working in?… From there, make the right choice of major.

Dong Van Ngoc also advises candidates to clearly identify their strengths and limitations. This will help them choose the right career.

“For example, a child who is afraid of heights should not choose a profession to work at height. Children who are afraid of blood should not choose a profession that has to be exposed to a lot of blood like the medical group. Children who are allergic to gasoline should not choose industries related to petroleum chemicals.

An important point to note is that candidates should choose a major before choosing a school. The reason is that most schools now offer multi-disciplinary and multi-vocational training. Therefore, candidates can completely choose their favorite profession at the best school possible and suitable for their ability”, said Dr.

Dr. Le My Phong – Deputy Director of the Quality Management Department (Ministry of Education and Training) shared that this year’s students were heavily affected by the Covid-19 epidemic. Therefore, the Ministry of Education and Training has written guidelines to reduce the program load, this year’s exam questions only have the following sections to reduce the load, the parts that have been included in the load reduction document will not appear.

The test questions are mainly questions of recognition and understanding, and there are sentences used to differentiate candidates in the exam. Therefore, students need to prepare psychologically well to enter the exam, and at the same time comply with the exam regulations.

“Especially when entering the exam room, you must comply with the exam regulations to avoid violating the exam regulations. Because the security of the exam questions is very high – the multiple-choice test runs out of time to do the test, and the essay test ends. 2/3 of the time to do the test. Therefore, any part of the exam that is distributed before that time will violate the regulations and be handled, as if the candidate lost the opportunity to enter the university”, Dr. Le My Phong noted.
