Ms. Ta Thu Huong: This year’s exam paper is 120 minutes long and remains the same structure as every year.

Use mind maps to make the knowledge system easy to remember and learn. Knowledge should be divided into topics corresponding to 5 lessons in the exam structure:

Lesson 2: Practical math:

– Solve math problems by making equations

Reporter: How should students set goals for the review process? Is it effective to just “plug in” to study day and night?

Ms. Ta Thu Huong: From now until the exam time, you have 6 weeks to review, so please divide your review time appropriately: Spend time on the area of ​​knowledge you are not sure about; Every week, you should do at least one 120-minute question similar to the structure of the 10th grade exam on exam paper to practice presentation skills and arrange a reasonable time.

In addition, in the learning process, boldly ask the teachers about the knowledge they do not understand for sure in each topic.

Having a suitable learning method: With algebra, it is necessary to understand the problem form and solution method; With Geometry it is necessary to memorize the theory and remember the conclusions.

Along with that, the children should build a reasonable timetable when reviewing the subjects, avoiding the situation of “plugging in” to study, avoiding staying up late and affecting their health. When the children are healthy and mentally sharp, they can absorb the lesson well and do well.

Reporter: In your opinion, how “tactical” is the process of taking the test? What basic mistakes must a student avoid to get a perfect score?

Ms. Ta Thu Huong: When you receive the exam questions, you should spend 5 minutes reading the entire question twice; When doing the work, do prioritizing the types of assignments that you are sure to follow in the order of the test questions, and the difficult questions to do later; draft the solution and then write it in the post.

With algebra lessons: you have to spend time, each lesson must not focus more than 15 minutes on a sentence, you must check your answers, compare them with conditions (if any) and then come to a conclusion.

Students often get points deducted: wrong parenthesis, don’t change the sign, copy wrong topic, type wrong, solve equation system pay attention to the condition of hidden, problem solve attention problem must have units corresponding to the representations. number of arguments… In this lesson on the relationship between a line and a Parabola, students need to have a sentence leading to the equation of intersection coordinates before using the solution formula.

Remember to read the topic carefully, so you should quickly draw a draft first, then draw in the lesson, draw a large, clear image, draw the picture wherever you go. The picture should be drawn on page 2 or page 4 of the exam paper so that when doing the test, you don’t have to turn the paper to read the picture, which can cause confusion.

Students are often deducted points: Draw the wrong picture (for example, ask to draw the string AB < AC, the student draws the opposite…); draw a missing figure (use point M but there is no such point in the figure, lack of connecting segments to get a quadrilateral, triangle, angle), write the wrong vertex: angle ACB is again written as angle ABC; take a point on the small arc, then take a point on the large arc, take a point on the opposite ray AB, then take a point on the ray AB...; Abbreviated names of corners A1, A2 but none in the figure.
