Philippines election: More than 37,000 polling stations open

More than 37,000 polling stations across the Philippines opened at 6 a.m. local time and closed at 7 p.m. today. According to statistics, there are about 65.7 million eligible voters.

In this election, Filipino voters will also conduct the election of Vice President, 12 Senators, more than 300 members of the House of Representatives and more than 17,000 local officials.
