Quang Nam: Investigate the shocking shooting incident in Hoi An City

On the afternoon of May 9, leaders of Quang Nam Provincial Police knew that professional units were actively investigating a shooting incident on Ly Thai To Street (Hoi An City) that injured one person.
According to initial information, around 2:50 pm on the same day, a group of 6 young people were drinking at Ba Dung bar (Ly Thai To street) when an object with a homemade sword rushed in and slashed.
As a result, one of the group, Nguyen Van Hung (resident in Hoi An city) was injured in the hand.

After cutting, the young man dropped the sword and ran into the street. About 1 minute later, a subject holding a homemade gun shot 2 bullets at the remaining 5 people, causing Pham Nguyen Van Hiep (resident in Hoi An City) with multiple injuries to the face and neck.
The victim was then taken to Da Nang General Hospital for treatment because the wound was too severe. At the scene, police seized a homemade sword.
Currently, the Criminal Police Department of Quang Nam Provincial Police is coordinating with the Hoi An City Police to track down the perpetrators.
