Video recording the incident shared on social networks shows three male lions walking leisurely into the main road. They suddenly stopped and lay sprawled out in the middle of the road.

Male lions are notoriously aggressive, being notorious predators in the wild. Tourists both nervously and anxiously wait until they see the lions more relaxed, stress-free, and then leave. The video has garnered more than 30,000 views just an hour after being shared on social media.

According to conservationists, it is not uncommon for male lions to get along comfortably together in the wild.

The humorous incident that took place in Baobab Ridge Game Lodge, South Africa was recorded by tour guide Jabulani Salinda.

Jabulani Salinda said colleagues warned him that lions were roaming the area. However, during his trip, Jabulani Salinda’s car was unfortunately stuck in the mud. To get out of this situation, he had to use a zipper and unfortunately, his rescue attempt didn’t go according to plan when he encountered the male lion.

It grasped the zipper and played with it like it was playing with a toy. Jabulani Salinda said: “Before I could pull the rope back, the faster male lion grabbed it. I had to struggle for a while.”

During the struggle, the stubborn lion even tried to wrap the rope around a tree to win. But also thanks to the lion that the car can move.

At that time, the lion staggered slightly because it refused to let go of the rope. Salinda said the tug-of-war finally ended after a pack of lionesses walked past, the male lion having to release his new-found ‘toy’ and join the herd.
