Tragedy of a man who accepts his wife’s adultery: A terrible secret

Knowing that his wife had an affair, Scott Dell was desperate and always hoped Cherryle Dell would come back, even willing to accept Cherrylle to continue the affair, as long as he did not leave the family. But Cherrylle was still determined to leave and quickly filed for divorce. She also shocked when she claimed that Scott molested the children in the house.

Following this statement, the court ordered Scott to leave the home and leave the couple’s children in the care of Cherrylle.

However, the couple’s relatives and friends do not believe this. They allege that Cherrylle lied to get custody of the children, no matter how much it harmed Scott. Even Cherryle’s lover doubted the accusations.

Not long after, authorities deemed Cherrylle’s accusations unfounded. They allowed Scott to return to the couple’s home.

When her husband was returned, Cherrylle immediately moved out. But not long after, Cherrylle’s lover wanted to end the relationship. This made Cherrylle even more angry with her husband because he thought he was the cause.

In the summer of 1994, Scott was diagnosed with oral cavity cancer that had spread to his throat and lymph nodes. After knowing the news, Cherrylle paused the divorce proceedings. However, the couple is still living separately. But then, to the surprise of his family, Scott responded very well to treatment for cancer.

So, when the police concluded that Scott had drunk poisoned alcohol to take his own life, his relatives could not help but be suspicious.

Terrible secret

Scott’s family suspects that Cherrylle killed her husband, but police believe that Scott has causes for depression, including Cherrylle’s recent love affair with gay lover – Nancy Fillmore, 39. This relationship began several months before Scott’s death.

Nancy believed Cherrylle’s accusations of abuse, brought her in and even gave her a deposit to buy a house. But then a friend of Nancy’s noticed bruises on her arm. Nancy is scared to tell you that she was attacked by Cherrylle.

But not only that, Nancy also reveals a terrible secret. She said she regretted that even though she knew, she did not find a way to prevent Scott’s death. The friend convinces Nancy to go to the police.

In March 1997, a few weeks after breaking up with Cherrylle, Nancy reported to the police that Cherrylle had appropriated her property and accused her of murdering Scott.

Working with the police, Nancy testified that in December 1995, Cherrylle brought a bottle of wine to Scott, then returned to Nancy’s house and began a long phone conversation with her husband.

Cherrylle pretends that her husband might be back, much to Scott’s delight. While the two listened to music and talked, Cherrylle urged her husband to drink. Scott lost his taste buds after cancer surgery, so he couldn’t detect the smell of the poison.

Nancy admitted to buying alcohol at the store and antifreeze at the supermarket when her ex asked for it. She also witnessed Cherrylle concocting deadly poison in the kitchen.

After confessing to the police, Nancy worried for her life. She tells friends that she is afraid of being destroyed but refuses to move until she gets her property back from Cherrylle. And then that worry came true.
