3 steps to make salmon with cream sauce for the weekend
Salmon is a nutritious food and can be prepared in many ways such as pan-frying, grilling… Here is a creamy salmon recipe for housewives to show off their talents.
Salmon with mustard cream sauce
Difficulty: Easy Cooking time: 20 minutes Serving: 2 people |
Material
2 pieces of salmon fillet
2 teaspoons olive oil
2 cloves of minced garlic
One tablespoon dijon mustard
One teaspoon of cornstarch
One teaspoon of honey
60 ml chicken broth
60 ml full cream (heavy cream)
Salt, pepper, fresh dill
Making
Step 1:
Pat the salmon fillet dry with paper towels, then sprinkle with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add salmon and sauté for 3-4 minutes on each side (or longer depending on doneness).
While waiting for the fish to cook, stir the cream cheese with the cornstarch, mustard and honey in a bowl.
Gently remove the salmon to a plate (reserving the excess olive oil) and set aside.
Step 2:
In the same pan, add minced garlic and saute over high heat until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
Reduce heat to medium, add chicken broth and bring to a boil, leave for about 4 minutes so that the amount of water in the pan is reduced to 2/3.
Whip the cream mixture again and then pour into the pan, stirring over low heat until the mixture thickens.
Turn off the stove, add chopped dill.
Step 3:
Return the salmon fillet to the pan, and use a spoon to drizzle the cream sauce over the top.
Arrange salmon on a plate with steamed asparagus, enjoy directly while still warm.
