84 solutions won the 16th National Technical Innovation Award

Authors with solutions and technical innovations that contribute to new developments in science and technology and promote economic development were awarded the Vifotec Prize.

On the afternoon of May 10, the organizing board of the 16th National Technical Innovation Contest (Vifotec) (2020-2021) announced a list of 84 winning solutions with 5 first prizes, 11 second prizes, 23 third prizes, 45 prizes. Consolation prizes.

Solutions in the fields of: Information technology, electronics and telecommunications (12); Mechanical automation, construction, transportation (15); Materials, chemicals, energy (15); Agriculture, forestry, fishery, natural resources and environment (14); Medicine, pharmacy (14) and Education, training and other fields (14).

The contest recognizes and honors research works and innovative solutions; to promote the creative labor movement of the masses, create new developments in science and technology and contribute to economic development.

The winning projects receive certificates of merit and bonuses from the organizers, and creative labor certificates from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

For 5 individuals who are in charge of the solution, the first prize will be awarded with a certificate of merit from the Prime Minister. The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee awarded 2 youth badges to the authors of the first prize winners.

This year, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) also awarded the certificate and gold medal for the best project.

The National Technical Innovation Contest is organized by the Vifotec Foundation, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Ministry of Finance, National Office of Intellectual Property and ministries, branches and localities. . . organized since 1989. After more than 30 years, there were about 7,000 solutions to compete and nearly 1,000 solutions were awarded. The authors were honored as scientists, farmers, and workers with technical innovations across the country.
