BMW X4 launched an upgraded version, the price increased by 200 million VND

On May 10th, Thaco debuted BMW X4 The upgraded version costs VND 3,279 billion, an increase of VND 200 million compared to the previous version. X4 is a coupe-shaped high-rise car with a sporty disposition, which the company calls SAC (Sport Activity Coupe), using the same engine chassis platform with the X3 multi-purpose sport model.

The most special feature of X4 The upgrade is the exterior design. The entire front and rear light clusters, kidney grille or redesigned bumper. The car’s lights are flattened and extended to the sides, while the 3D embossed taillights with larger LED strips, improve visibility at night.

In terms of technology, the lighting cluster uses laser lights instead of full LEDs, giving a lighting capacity of 550 m. The grille is flattened but increased in size, the front and rear bumpers are embossed and painted in black to distinguish the car paint color.

The body of the car does not have many differences except for the air intakes located behind the front wheel compartments and the M Sport badge on the body. In this generation, the distributor imported the M Sport version with a new wheel design but kept the 19-inch size. The overall design of the new X4 is closer and closer to the elder X6, sportier than the old version’s harmony.

The interior of the car is not much different, the steering wheel is still M Sport leather, with integrated gearshift paddles, Vernasca leather interior. Clock converts from analog to digital 12.3 inch. The central screen is also new, measuring 12.3 inches and using BMW’s latest ID7 operating system, synchronized with a new control key.

The difference in the interior compared to the old X4 is the air-conditioning cluster using a new key like on the series 4, the overall interior is a bit like the elder X6. However, the gear lever, the light switch are the old form.

In terms of equipment, the car is added with a smart key, gesture control, but the sound is 12 regular speakers while the old version is 16 speakers. This way of choosing comfort is quite strange, because gesture control is a practical feature that is rarely used on BMW cars in Vietnam.

The old equipment is still there such as a panoramic sunroof, 3-zone air conditioning, air filter, tire pressure sensor, custom driving mode…

Regarding the engine, the car still uses the 2.0 type with a capacity of 184 horsepower and maximum torque of 300 Nm, 8-speed automatic transmission. For the 2.0 engine, the X3 has an output option of 252 hp for the M Sport version.

In the segment, X4 competes directly GLC Coupe price 3,129 billion. If you don’t consider the design, the X4 is in the same segment with X3 and compete with other competitors such as Lexus RX, Volvo XC60 nice Porsche Macan.
